Batch Meal Plan

Batch Meal Plan

Batch meal planning is cooking several servings of the same meal at once.  If your favorite family-friendly recipe is on your plan for this week, make four batches of the meal at once.  Serve one batch tonight, freeze the other three.  When you know you’ll have a busy night, pull one out of the freezer in the morning and reheat at night.  Easy, healthy, family dinner.

Think about this.  Batch cook 4 times during the first week of November.  Make 3 extra batch meals each time.  You’ll have 12 meals ready to go in your freezer.  That’s almost 2 nights a week from now until Christmas where you’re not cooking!  But you are eating a healthy, delicious meal.  A little planning and effort ahead of time goes a long way.
